I find it absurd that the USDA used my tax money to fund a study that has no basis in reality, i.e. that we can find a market for 36 billion gallons of bio-fuel, almost all of which has to be ethanol that isn't there now and won't be there in 2022. Clearly the RFS mandate in EISA 2007 was intended to be a corporate welfare program for E85 production and distribution and incentivising flex-fuel dinosaurs … sorry cars. Yet it isn't happening and clearly won't in the failing American economy. Instead we are turning all of our gasoline into E10, which was never the intent of the act, meanwhile causing economic destruction in the marine, aviation, off road recreational vehicle and classic / antique car industries to say nothing of the havoc that is coming in public safety when portable tools don't start or crap out in an emergency. It is going to happen.
We will hit the blending wall in 2012, all of the gasoline in the U.S. will be E10 and E15 is not going to delay it. The EPA and the ethanol industry better figure out how to jump start the Renewable Fuel era, which is E85, or throw in the towel before there is serious economic and public safety consequences, and I would sure prefer that they do it on their own dime, quit using my tax money.

Our point of sale software uses a similar technique to calculate profit, It calculates the moving average cost price,
the last purchase price, and if you want a set purchase price. and from there you can choose which one you want, the average cost price is probably much more accurate.
unless you do things like track purchase price and volume, and slowly weed out the oldest purchased stock first, from the average price. resulting in an average cost of stock on hand.
This how ever is rather complicated to do

How to Make Any Good Blog Great –
Jack Simmons (07:54:41) :
Third, new nuclear power plants are clearly one of the most expensive means of producing electricity, at $10,000 per kW to construct. No one in their right mind builds these things unless completely or heavily subsidized by the government. The oil from oil shale would be outrageously expensive if nuclear heat was used. You stated you would “us[e] [nuclear] waste heat to heat up shale.” Waste heat from nuclear reactors is very low temperature, in the exhaust steam that is condensed in the condenser. Not enough temperature to heat shale up to get the oil out. Sorry, that does not work. Second law of thermodynamics is not subject to anyone or anything that tries to avoid or get around it. Never.
Steven,
Just on the point above, I'll get to the others later, here is a reference to a nuclear reactor designed specifically for my intended use for them:
Notice the comments made regarding the intended applications:
The Very-High-Temperature Reactor (VHTR) is a graphite-moderated, helium-cooled reactor with a once-through uranium fuel cycle. It supplies heat with high core outlet temperatures which enables applications such as hydrogen production or process heat for the petrochemical industry or others.
The VHTR system is designed to be a high-efficiency system that can supply process heat to a broad spectrum of high-temperature and energy-intensive, non-electric processes. The system may incorporate electricity generating equipment to meet cogeneration needs. The system also has the flexibility to adopt uranium/plutonium fuel cycles and offer enhanced waste minimization. Thus, the VHTR offers a broad range of process heat applications and an option for high-efficiency electricity production, while retaining the desirable safety characteristics offered by modular high-temperature gas-cooled reactors.
All nuclear reactors have waste heat, lots of it. That's why sites next to large bodies of water are desirable. These reactors are designed to generate heat, my intended application.
Or you just generate electricity and use it to heat your rods.
Remember, one square mile = one billion barrels of oil. About $50 billion in revenue generating capacity. A few billion for a nuclear power plant is nothing.
When you're done, you continue using the plant for electricity.]]>

“Why the heck not adding nofollow to the links in the map? For matters of consistency, I think that should be done as regular external links are already treated that way.”
Because the point is that they have a low risk of being spam links, it turns out.
Turning on nofollow for random external links on the English Wikipedia – so that it matches all the other Wikipedias and Wikimedia projects – has noticeably lowered the spam link levels. So it works.
What Wikipedia does with nofollow is entirely its own business. This remains third parties (SEO spammers) wanting to score points with fourth parties (Google) – and of absolutely no value to the actual point of the project itself. This is why no-one at Wikipedia or Wikimedia seems to care.]]>
