The analogue to digital TV changeover has been talked about for a long time and although I’ve known it was going to happen I haven’t really thought about it in Motorhoming terms because at home I’m done.

Is there any way to stream tv(not games)using this card? have u tried it? I can’t…
just a 3 month job doing customer service in a call centre for the digital tv changeover in July … all incoming yay
By the way. Everyone will have to get a digital TV by next year this time. Oh wait there will be another government had out. If you would like to keep your old TV you can get a $40 coupon, two per household, for a digital to analog converter. But you still have to buy an ATSC antenna to pick up digital TV. Hopefully you will buy a digital TV other wise if everyone in the US gets a $40 coupon that will cost the treasury department $12 billion.

Yeah I guess the Brennan is just a glorified overpriced mp3 player and obsolete already. What I need still hasn't been invented yet. It would be a “Star Trek” scanning device that could flash a beam through the house and instantly download all my analogue/digital music onto an indestructible player with a wireless range of oh 60 or 70 miles. That should do it.

21CN is causing us no end of trouble. We have systems talking to remote outstations over PSTN, and since the introduction of 21CN, we've a whole lot more call failures. I reckon it's lossy compression that results from the digitisation and packetisation of analogue call data that's causing it.
It's crazy. The process is effectively:
Local PSTN modem: Digital–>Analogue
Enter 21CN: Analogue–>Digital
Exit 21CN: Digital–>Analogue
Remote PSTN modem: Analogue–>Digital
