Hey Guys,

Just came across CNN's India Means Business week website, http://www.cnn.com/india. it has some very interesting and amazing stories on India and its business culture. This is a part of CNN's special programme on India's business and economy starting from Nov 24. Apparently, we can also put in our comments or post videos on their iReport at http://www.cnn.com/ireport/.

Definitely worth a try!

Thanks

On Commercial Vehicles: I wrote a post recently discussing the situation I recently encountered with the Zoning Office. The notice I received (after an anonymous and erroneous complaint to the Zoning Office for the second time) was about my recreational vehicle, yet the notice was clearly marked “remove COMMERCIAL vehicle,” and even had checkoffs for front, side or back of the property. Like I said in the original post, the alleged infraction was a harassment from some unknown get-a-life, because I was not in violation of the ordinance.

But in coming over to my house to write up the violation, the Zoning employee had to pass OTHER actual infractions of the ordinance no matter which direction he came down my street. I was never a fan of this ordinance — if someone's livelihood depends on their trade, and their trade calls for a van or pickup truck or whatever, I don't think they should be penalized for parking their truck in their driveway just because they aren't fortunate enough to have a cushy job with a town instead of getting their hands dirty for a living.

But what I don't get is how this can be explained; if someone sends in an anonymous complaint, the Zoning office checks it out … but do they drive there with their eyes closed? It seems to me that they're far more interested in following up on snitches than on actually seeing what's there. Everything they say and do is a contradiction — on the one hand, they'll climb all over me because someone snitches (wrongly), but then they act as if actually enforcing the existing ordinance can't be done even when they see it with their own eyes.

The issue of whether or not we should have an ordinance that prohibits people who work for a living from parking their work trucks in their driveway is for another day. I personally think the simple solution is to prohibit them from parking in the street, and have a length limitation so that tractor trailers and super-stretch limos don't start showing up in driveways … but what's ACTUALLY going on is ridiculous.

I agree with your word. :) Our campus is so beautiful and gorgeous. I think the campus make me more romantic. It can help me fight the homesickness. Also, I was really great time at Recreation Sports Center. I really feel refreshed and happy, taking exercise. I think you are so cute when you are doing exercise. Anyway, we had great time at Miami University for a week and I hope we make good remembrance.

p.s- We must shup the mouth…

Meron here sa Philippines, sa YSA skin clinic. They have branches in Festival Mall, SM. Sta Rosa, Lipa, and others. I've been using it for a few months because of my breakouts, not really for skin whitening. It's surprisingly effective. Pwede daw once a day, 750 for 1 pack (10 capsules). Pero they advised me to use it twice a day, so 1500 for 10 days.

I have been using the “butterfly type” for most of my adult life. I never did like that one pack of 10 disposable razors cost 5 times as much as one box of 10 double edged safety razor blades. I have occasionally bought disposables in an emergency, but have rarely used the entire pack. I used to keep the left overs in my travel bag. Now I have been out of town for weeks at a time and bought the Fusion 5 Bill mentions. It does give a good shave. But it clogs quickly with my beard and there is no way to take it apart and clear it. I'm just going to have to order myself a second safety razor, since Malwart sure doesn't carry them.
