Thanks, Glynn, but a couple of points.

The element of compulsion was quite definitely there, ditto the exchange system – Field's assumption being that everyone on JSA is in social housing. It's not even slightly true. Owning one's own home – or being in hock to the building society, looking at it more realistically – is no guarantee against being unemployed. Been there. But Field's crackpot idea can't possibly work – it's too full of holes.

As for the cost (as I think I said, but I'm too idle to look), in May last year, moving 30 feet down the corridor, to the flat next door, could have cost me almost £400. As it was, I didn't get an awful lot of change out of £200, and I didn't even need a van. Van hire is the cheapest way to do it, as you found out, but not everyone can do that (not everyone can drive, especially around this area, with one of the lowest rates of car ownership in the country (god help us if everyone drove here – nobody would go anywhere).

And when it comes to forcing people off IB and ESA onto JSA, that is precisely what ESA was designed to do (did you know, for example, that ESA doesn't even comply with the legislation upon which it's allegedly based?). It's not just my view, by the way – check out any of the major charities working in the field of disability. And it's the government's avowed aim to reduce DLA claims by 20% between 2013 and 2016, despite the DWP's own figures for DLA fraud being a mere 0.6% last year (source newsletter and members' section). And I'd draw your attention to this, too A campaign of lies to rival those of David Freud a couple of years ago and comments.

Nothing I wrote was exaggeration or imagination – the truth, as they say, is out there. I just comment on it.

Ron.

Current Event 7

Inflation of food prices are said to last for the next two years. The cost of prices has risen mainly because of increased consumption of developing countries such as China, damaged crops in Australia, most of American production are being exported for more profit, and oil and fuel influences. Americans are expected, and already are, to make substitutions for the increase of price of foods.

I feel this will greatly hurt the restaurant business. Eating out will become a true luxury for at least the next two years. Although I hope this will help America's problem of over consumption of foods. Food is a necessity and Americans must learn how to budget.

Before you have the house renovated, always check if the contractor you've hired is licensed. Hiring a sub-par contractor could mean the difference between profit and problems. Make sure you have a contractor with all the renovation estimates before you purchase the home. Hire someone you can trust, someone you know is experienced, and someone that comes recommended by people you know.

Having good ppl around you is a must. Make sure you know who your true friends are… It's a rare luxury that ppl take for granted.

Right on target, Constance! You are definitely not just a word-pushing publisher. You are obviously guided by your own evolved state of consciousness and making unbelievable choices.

What a sign of hope it is that you are able to be the conduit for such awesome information and inspiration to reach those of us who seek. Networking with like-minded through your website is a true luxury of life for me.

Congratulations and Namaste to all!

We take our Maggie everywhere we go. Since we have a motor home that's pretty easy. When I have to fly to see my sister in Texas or to a conference, my husband, John, is home with Maggie. She gave us a scare when we were leaving camp on Saturday. John left the motor home door open when we hooked up the boat and Maggie got out. It was her first time without me on the other end of her leash. She ran down the road as fast as she could. “Maggie, Maggie,” I cried. “Maggie, stop!” After we woke the campers, I finally got a hold of her leash and took her back to the motor home. I think she was as afraid as I was and glad to be in my arms.
